A new adventure
A new (to me) Macomber loom came home with me recently. This vintage beauty is over 40 years old and started life in a community college weaving studio. So many campus weaving programs are gone now, or are much smaller in size. I was very lucky to learn to weave at the U of O in the late 90's and early 2000s. We had a huge variety of looms to work on, and the Macs were known as workhorses so I was glad to get one of my own.
After some cleanup and minor part replacements I am just about done warping and ready to weave!
